We encourage you to try the beta version of Paratext 9.5 with your Paratext projects.
*Updates will only be available from within Paratext.

Additional Requirement(s):
See system requirements for older versions or operating systems.
It is possible to run both Paratext 9.4 and Paratext 9.5 beta on your computer at the same time.
However, for a project administrator to opt in to the Whitespaces and invisible character support features implemented in 9.5 beta, all team members must update to 9.5. Once this is done the project cannot be edited in 9.4 or earlier versions of Paratext.
If you use any manually installed plugins with your Paratext 9.4, 9.5 beta version won’t see them by default.
To use these plugins in 9.5 beta:
If your plugin does not work after those steps, please report a problem to the Paratext developers team and to the plugin developers.
Paratext 9 is compatible with Paratext 8 and can be used on the same projects, sharing files using send/receive. If you have Paratext 8 installed, the Paratext 9 installer will not replace it. The installer does not delete Paratext 8 or change it in any way–you can continue to use both Paratext 8 and Paratext 9, but you should not have both open at the same time.
If Paratext 8 is installed, Paratext 9 will use the existing My Paratext 8 Projects directory, sharing projects with Paratext 8. If Paratext 8 is not installed, Paratext 9 creates a new project directory named My Paratext 9 Projects.
Paratext is compatible with various versions of software like FieldWorks (FLEx) and Logos Bible Software. To find out more, see Compatibility with other software.
