How to apply and customize a Project Plan that will work for you
Only a project administrator can apply and configure a project plan.
Does your Paratext project already have a project plan set up?
Your project will have a blue icon like this in the upper right corner of the text editing window. When you click on it, it opens a list of tasks for the current book.
Yes, my project already has a plan set up
Determine what plan you are using
- Click on the Project menu > Project settings > Project plan.
- At the top, it will give the name of the Project Plan. If this is the correct plan for your organization, then you are already set up. Please make sure to customize the plan according to your needs before you begin to use it.
If it is not the correct plan for your organization, follow steps 1 through 5 below.
Replacing an existing project plan
If it is not the base plan you need to use, you’ll need to copy any progress data you want to save from it and delete it before applying a new plan. Begin with step 1 if you want to save the progress data, or with step 2 if the existing progress data is not important.
