Deleting Test Migrations

Projects that were previously migrated from Paratext 7 to Paratext 8 can be deleted from Paratext 8 and remigrated.

Actions

[All team members except administrator]

1. Go to Project > Delete Project.
2. Select the project to delete
3. In the Action list choose “Delete project from this computer only.”

   

4. Click OK to delete the project.
5. Wait until administrator tells you the new migration is finished
6. Do send/receive to get the new copy of the project.

[Administrator]

1. In Paratext 8, go to Project, Delete Project.
2. Select the project to delete
3. Expand the Action list by clicking “Show more actions”.

   

4. Choose “Delete for all users in order to re-migrate from Paratext 7” if you want to leave the project registration in place.– if for some reason you wish delete the registration in the Paratext registry too, you’d pick “Delete project for all users; delete registration”.

The results should show you are deleting the copy on your computer and on the server, but leaving the registration.

5. Click OK and the project will be deleted.

   

6. Now migrate the project again as explained here.
